Roadmap

Technically, all achievements can be unlocked in a single playthrough (if you back up your save files for Smashed!). However, it’s recommended to attempt the speedrun and no-death run only after becoming familiar with the world and puzzles.

Step One (1.5 hours)

  • Collect all 24 readables and press all 67 buttons.
  • Get smashed by the ceiling after obtaining the timegun.
  • Find the hidden OST vinyl and unlock the Break Time achievement.

Step Two (0.5 hours)

  • Complete the game within 45 minutes.
  • Complete the game without dying.

Challenges

Speedrunner

You got there so fast you reduced her suffering.

Complete the game within 45 minutes. If you have already completed the game once and are familiar with all the puzzles, you can easily reach the credits within ~15 minutes. Note that menu time does not count towards play time.

Too Clean

Not a scratch. Are you even real?

Complete the game without dying. Taking damage is fine. It’s recommended to regularly back up your save files (see Overview section for save file location). If you fall off a ledge, you can quickly press Esc to open the menu and load the last checkpoint.


Missable Achievements

Smashed!

The ceiling seems to like you!

In the Lab, pick up the timegun to trigger the door and the ceiling mechanisms. Wait a few seconds to be crushed by the ceiling:

Please note that being crushed by the ceiling will void the Too Clean achievement for completing the game without dying.


Found The OST

We got some music lover here.

In the Lab, reach the platform halfway through the first gondola ride (press the button to stop the gondola):

Jump down the ledges on the right side and take a closer look at the hidden vinyl:

You can load the last checkpoint if you are stuck on the platform.


Break Time

Your curiosity is getting out of control.

In the Farm, navigate to the puzzle area with the two blue crystals and the generator on the ceiling. Lower both elevators, then stand on the ground between both crystals and shoot one of the crates with a blue bullet:

You found all notes, all stories, all context.

Button is Life

You have to press them… ALL!

There are 24 readables (notes, stories, context) and 67 buttons (puzzle mechanisms, switches, elevator controls) scattered across the game. All must be collected or pressed in a single playthrough.

Note that if you load the last checkpoint, you must collect all readables and press all buttons again from that point onward.

It’s not necessary to read every page of the notes; simply interacting with them is sufficient.
