Challenge Achievements

Just Say NO!
Reach the end without using any painkillers
Complete the game without healing. This can be easily done in a second playthrough, after unlocking New Game+ and the bonus menu. The latter grants access to the following gameplay modifiers, trivializing the achievement:
- Infinite Ammo
- Infinite Battery
- Invincibility
- One-hit Kills
- Caffeinated (Fast Walking)
If you want to unlock the achievement in a normal playthrough, note that your health won’t regenerate at all. Since there’s an escape sequence at the beginning of Act III which is almost impossible to complete without taking damage (you won’t be able to use any weapons), it’s highly recommended to reload your last autosave whenever you get hit.

The solution is randomized. Listen to all three radio messages scattered across the area (including upstairs) to identify the correct TVs. Alternatively, brute-force the puzzle: switch on any three TVs and pull the lever. The red and green lights beside the lever indicate how many are correct.
Nightmare 3
Locked Box
The solution is randomized. Find the numbers on the walls in the:
- Bathroom
- Basement
- Kitchen
- Bedroom
Whispering Hallways
Use the Field Recorder on the hallways and walk through them in this order:
- Gasping
- Screaming
- Crying
Finally, follow the blood trail through the last hallway.
